Price is based on double occupancy for both cottages.  The Hollyhock can accommodate a young person on the sofa bed for an additional $10 per night.  All accommodations are provided for the use of our paying guests only.

Policies and Guidelines

Reservations. A reservation is a request made by a future guest.  It is a request for us to turn away any other potential guest(s) on the requested dates confirmed.  It is an agreement telling us that you are willing to be completely responsible for payment of the reservation - even if your plans or circumstances change.  A credit card will be required in order to complete your reservation.

Deposits, Refunds and Cancellation.  A 50% deposit is required to secure a reservation with a minimum of one night’s rental.  Deposits will be refunded provided you cancel at least 14 days prior to your arrival date, except during the high-demand period of June through September, holidays or special events, which require cancellation 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival.  If you want to cancel in a shorter time period, your deposit will be refunded only if we can re-rent your accommodations.  All cancellations will be assessed a $25 administrative fee.  All refunds will be made by check.  No refunds will be given for early departure.  Deposits will be forfeited if you don’t show up.

Housekeeping. While daily housekeeping services are available only by special arrangements, we will supply you with fresh towels or amenities as needed. Bed linens will be changed after the fourth consecutive night’s stay, or by special request.  A modest gratuity for our housekeeper would be appreciated.

Arrivals and Departures.  You can check in at 3 pm and need to check out by 11 am unless special advance arrangements are made.  We appreciate being advised if your anticipated arrival time is going to be after 6 pm. 

Kitchens. In the kitchen you will find all the makings for coffee and tea. We ask you to be responsible for washing dishes and general cleanliness. Cleaning or cooking of fish, crabs and clams is not permitted. Basic kitchen guidelines are posted in each cottage. Failure to comply could result in a minimum of a $30 extra cleaning charge.

Smoking. Inside of our Enchanted Cottages you may not smoke.  You can smoke outside wherever you find an official Enchanted Ashtray.

Pets. Our Enchanted Cottages are not pet friendly, even though we love them (and know they are people too).

Consequences. A minimum cleaning fee of $200 will be charged to anyone smoking inside our cottages or bringing in a pet.

As noted on your receipt, all furnishings and amenities are property of the Enchanted Cottages and are intended for the use and enjoyment of registered guests. It is understood that damage and/or items unaccounted for may be charged at full replacement value to your account.
