Welcome to el Lugar Dulce, our Enchanted Condo in Ixtapa, Guerrero, Mexico – created for those refined,  independent, value-seeking travelers who desire a vacation that’s  just a bit different than the usual – after all that’s what a vacation should be – a departure from  everyday life.

Overview. Our extensively remodeled condo is full of light and charm and is perfect for either short or long-term stays. We have created a simple, pleasing and comfortable atmosphere for your vacation getaway by combining the considerable talents of Mexican craftsmen with the practicality of American features at an affordable price.

Features. The condo features two bedrooms, each with their own bath, plus a lovely tiled, fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room and balcony. There are beautiful carpetas (inlaid mosaics) throughout the tiled floors, baths with glass block walls and stone floors in the showers, new screened windows with movable blinds, a ceramic stove-top in the kitchen, air conditioning, and ceiling fans in every room. Basic cable TV, DVD and CD player, linens, bedding, hair dryer, beach towels, blender, coffee maker, new convention and toaster oven, small microwave, dishes, glassware, silverware and basic cooking utensils are all provided.

Location. This inviting condominium is located on the second floor in the heart of Ixtapa, above prestigious boutiques like Nautica, close to taxis and buses, the beach and a great variety of shops, markets, restaurants, coffee and gelato bars, easily accessible internet access and laundry, all right at your doorstep. A convenient balcony permits you to catch a glimpse of local Mexican life in the plaza below.

Neighborhood. Across the main avenue there are several large hotels. Beach access is just a 5-minute walk away, where you can rent chairs and spend the day basking in the fabulous sun, surf and waves.

Services. Our English-speaking managers will handle your arrival and departure at the condo, help you with any issues or questions you may have and arrange for cleaning service at your request. This is a self-cleaning apartment and supplies are in the unit. For stays longer than six nights, a change of linens and cleaning is provided. Otherwise, reasonable charges will apply for other arrangements you wish to make.

Restrictions and Policies. For the benefit of all our guests, and without exception, the maximum occupancy is four people. No pets are allowed and there is no smoking. This policy will be enforced through the agreement you sign for your stay at the time of making your reservation. There is a $250USD cash security deposit required upon your arrival at the condo. This deposit will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, so long as no damage has occurred and the terms of the agreement have been honored.

Incentive. Substantial discounts are available for long-term stays (over two weeks).
